The 140T 1/2-inch 9-Track Tape Subsystem is a complete 125/42 ips GCRtape subsystem. It is a low-cost, open reel tape drive, and has aninstalled base well in excess of 50, units worldwide. It offers thebenefits of two tape speeds, low noise, and field-proven performance inproduct range. It is compatible with the ANSI and IBM tapespecifications. The 140T offers guaranteed data interchange and sustained780 KB per second data rates. Automatic calibration is carried out forevery tape that is used, assuring optimum, flexible performance. Systemintegration is made easy through the support of the industry standardSCSI interface.
